Our Story
Built on Volunteer
Spirit & Community
Valley One Volunteer Fire Department was founded on a simple conviction: that people who care for their community will step up when it matters most. What began as a small group of neighbors watching out for one another has grown into a trusted emergency service covering Princeton and the surrounding area.
Every member of our department serves without salary — they are teachers, farmers, tradespeople, and families who give their time, training, and courage so that others can sleep safely. From structure fires to medical emergencies, from car accidents to natural disaster response, our volunteers are prepared for whatever the night brings.

More Than a
Fire Department
Valley One is woven into the fabric of Princeton. We are the faces at your local grocery store, the parents at school events, the friends who check in during hard times. When the alarm sounds, that same bond is what drives us to run toward danger while others run away.
We believe that a strong fire department is built on strong community relationships. That is why we invest in education programs, youth outreach, and open communication — because preparedness starts long before the siren wails.
- Volunteer-driven leadership
- Continuous skills training
